dear SFTM, i like how your lexicon is broadening to include the fringe-dwellers of post-avante male dressing. i am sure there shall be some who view such a move as a nod to dressing a more commercial client, someone more ‘sportswear’ in their sensibilities, someone who skates or plays basketball… but i say bring it. SFTM, you have managed to take the urban & imbue it with a rugged, sensual vulnerability. your tailoring makes these jackets & outwears into armour, takes your brand further into the subcults of the australian male, a populace at slight odds with myself (their choice, not mine – i prefer to be oblivious to male posturing) but 1ne i’m happy to see attired in these exquisite plays on sheath, seam, cut & collaring. i feel that here, you complete the calm you have been striving for the past 2wo seasons – here, you offer preparedness, your philosophy sewn into the outer of all these garbs. bravo… & thanks!
