Zam Barrett – New York

14 September 2011 | One Comment

For-Tomorrow spent half a day with up-and-coming menswear designer Zam Barrett in his new studio in Brooklyn.
The inner workings of a craftsman whom uses his hands to create every garment in house truly encompass the definition. Using self sourced machines and rare fabrications, a team of workers under his guidance in his new Brooklyn studio creates pieces holding details that are unique to each garment and the high-quality you’d find from any of the worlds top labels.
Barrett, still a young designer, whom now calls New York home, moved from poverty stricken Jamaica to thrive in the big city, working his way up from an Army/Military Tailor to a fashion Entrepreneur under his self titled label.
We wish Zam all the best with what the future holds.

I LIKE THE INSIGHT OF THE DESIGNER THAT THESE PHOTOGRAPHS CAPTURED.
LIKE A FLY ON THE WALL (OR A KILLER READY TO STRIKE!!!). HE’S A DAPPER LOOKING FELLOW.
