SPRING SUMMER 2010/11
Expected delivery at For-Tomorrow starts from November 2010.
The footwear and accessories in this range have been designed in response to the current global crises.
Drawing from this idea, the shoes and bags have seams, design and lace lines that are slightly off centre, twisted, asymmetrical.
Each item is designed, made and finished in Andrew McDonald's Sydney workshop employing the same bespoke crafting techniques practised by shoemakers over the millennium.
Passion for leather and tradition has inspired the materials and processes used to make the shoes.
They have selected Kid, Calf and Horse hides that respond to a variety of polishing, staining and distressing techniques. This experimentation achieves colours and textures that mature over the life of the shoe.
The Independent research in every aspect of make, design and fit has enabled us to create footwear that transcend the vicissitudes of time. Shoes designed for those who want something unique.
This range refutes the mass production logic. Every shoe and accessory is a unique item brought to life by the relationship between the shoe and its possessor. Shoes that only a craftsman could make.
Production of each item in this range is numbered in a limited edition.
